Although the modded case looks ugly af, the base case is beautiful, and I love the fact that the case is modular.

Well the Thermaltake Level 20 GT RGB CA-1J9-00F9WN-00  is listed at $999.99 or higher at major retailers! Why anyone would buy this TT over other premium cases like the Corsair 1000D or Phanteks Ethnoo Elite ($500 and $899, respectively) is beyond me. The lowest price I saw for the Thermaltake View 91 Case CA-1I9-00F1WN-00 is $410 online. So you're getting about $20 off here depending on shipping costs and taxes in your location. The Thermaltake Level 20 GT RGB CA-1K9-00F1WN-01 lowest price I could find was $263, so about $23 dollars off, but shipping and taxes from this drop might put the total higher for your location. My take on this drop is that if you want the (fugly) Level 20 GT (CA-1J9-00F9WN-00) you can save about $170.00 and the other two models offer negligible savings. I could find non-user reviews (those not from retail websites) only for the cheaper models, which were positive. I'd like to see a good, thorough review on the CA-1J9-00F9WN-00 before throwing down $829, but that's me. If you looked just at the heading here you'd think you're getting the $1000 case for $388. So yeah, as usual, you better look past the click bait.

I have built numerous systems using Thermaltake chassis. My previous was a LEVEL 10 GT Snow Edition, my current is a Core 71, both full towers. Neither are worth more than the $150 I paid for them. Thermaltake mostly rips off other companies designs and makes them at a cheaper price point. If you're going to spend that kind of money, you should really be looking at Lian-Li cases, better structurally built to last for many years, less plastic in build materials too. Also these cases appear to have flow problems in terms of air flow, which you're going to want in a PC.

Ok after a little research, it does seem this drop is worth it because the prices are reduced. For the two cheaper ones, its about $20-$40 cheaper than anything online. For the level 20 case, it's about $150 cheaper. However, the price reduction that this drop shows is very miss leading, as the mid tier case that they are showing the price as 388 is originally $400-$430 range. The $1000 price cut is for the modular case. Cmon massdrop, stop trying to deceive us.

MananaManI completely agree. Still fuckin bothers me that it’s so overpriced and there’s better less expensive cases out there that’s even cheaper than massdrop’s price.
