Everything from the PVC-free cables to the packaging, which uses recycled materials, is designed to reduce their environmental impact. The wood cups are made from renewable sources, and produce clean, unadulterated sound with excellent isolation. An update on their predecessor, the On1, these feature an improved build quality with high-quality machine-sewn ear pads, a black-on-black embroidered faux leather headband, gunmetal diecast headband components, and nylon parts in place of standard plastics.

Combined with the full-size supra-aural ear cups, which rotate freely to help you find the right fit, the On2’s luxurious memory-foam ear pads and flexible headband promise comfort for those long listening sessions. At just over 7 ounces, these headphones are light enough to carry with you wherever you go—and the two detachable fabric cables, one with a single-button mic control and one without, make them even more portable. Both cables are reinforced with Kevlar for tangle resistance, and end in a 3.5-millimeter gold-plated stereo plug.
