I have the on1 and whilst the sound is fantastic, the build quality is really no good. I received the cans with the faux leather tearing off the sponge. This was replaced but about 6 months later it happened again. The padding also disengage s from the headphone constantly, making it too risky to carry about. The on1's have a padding this twists off for replacement, but mine just falls off basically.
Such a pity because the sound is just so awesome. I'm wondering if the on2 addresses these issues?
The earpads have been changed on the on2 as well as the headband and other materials. They are now sewn instead of heat molded. If you have an issue with the earpads email us at firstname.lastname@example.org Thanks. -Aaron, thinksound ceo
Thank you Aaron, I will do that.
My ON2s are built to last, no question. The padding will not come loose under normal circumstances in my experience.
I received the replacement pads and it looks sorted. The plastic ring which attaches the pad to the headphone seems to have been the issue. Thanks for sorting me out!
