I am curious: with all of the negative feedback about this well designed (but obviously overpriced) knife, why is it here on Massdrop? I like the concept, just not a fan of the price.

JimbroBecause MassDrop was able to make some deal with the manufacturer and offer it at slightly lower price, And because someone MIGHT buy it.

whackoBasically. These were on A Touch Of Modern just last month for around the same price($165+$8 shipping), definitely not the $156(if 15 even sell!). But I remember thinking then the same thing everyone's saying here now, "Wow! Pretty pricey!" I think they were supposed to be "exclusive" to Touch Of Modern & there was only 150 units. Guess this is the 70 they didn't sell. Much rather spend my money on a karambit a little bigger. A $165 would go a lot further on a folder or fixed blade karambit! On this little thing you're basically paying for the titanium & "call sign" that's engraved onto the ring loop, "Warrior", "Fire", ¿"Dirty Bird"?, etc., each one is supposed to have a different "call sign". Whatever! Better off buying one of these....
