For $135 MSRP the most abuse those things would be subjected to is opening beer bottles, would you really trust your life on one of these?
Personally I'd get a 'biner from a reputable climbing gear company with a safety record backing it up.
A survival carabiner doesn't need to be cool, it need to be safe.
P.S.> And why does every single piece of EDC gear needs hex wrenches? Just because it's the easiest feature to slap in there? The thing looks like an abomination.
