Crazy idea: how about a drop for this + optional addons like WTF and TiFork in the same colors as the milled pockets (or even selectable at checkout), plus maybe a bottle of blue Loctite (can't find it in Sweden)? How about upgrading those screws that everyone seems to agree are the weak point of the TiKeY, or, at least, throw in some extras including spacers/washers etc?
dag.odenhallI'm out of WTF's, and only have about 10 TiForks. WTF 2.0 is in the works.
Hmm, so maybe I just build "tool kits" that have all of the items and some picks? Last drop I threw in 1 extra set of screws, will do the same this time. I screw mine together, and then there is a hole on the back side where you can see the male and female threads, I just drop a drop of super glue in there. Last time I re-did my TiKeY was September (put truck key in there) and it hasn't unscrewed at all.
Once I get all these pens made and caught up, I plan to make my own screws, recently someone told me they found some Stainless screws that are exactly the same, so I'll have to go in search of those. Problem with stainless is that it can gall http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Galling
dag.odenhallUse the lightest weight blue lock tight, I destroyed my 1st screws with super glue!
I did however find that a couple drops on the Outside on top of the screw locks it from turning pretty well
Tactical_KeychainsI will buy some screws if you make them Brad, especially if it is different and more durable material then the aluminum screws. If you find the info on the stainless screws, let us know. That might be a stop-gap until you get up and going. Like you don't have enough to do. :)
TrashManlol, I was told that you can find Stainless of the same screws at the hardware store - different lengths too. I could probably never make them cheaper than you can buy them from the store unfortunately.
