While still new, I’m really enjoying this watch.
I now own 6 watches and this is by far the least expensive. However, it’s quickly becoming one of my favorites.
The face is large but not cumbersome. The strap is lightweight and comfortable. The strap also has nice details like the stitched T at the tip and the embedded hole size numbers. The dial is easy to read and illuminates beautifully. I’ve only been wearing this watch for about a week but have received several compliments. I get a kick from people’s reactions when I tell them it’s a Timex. It’s an almost universal “NO WAY?!”
I searched a while for an everyday watch that I wouldn’t be worried about beating up. I tend to break watches. They say this one will take a licking and keep on ticking. Well, we are going to find out.
Additionally, I was pleasantly surprised with the packaging for a watch at this price point.
Perhaps, the previous reviewer would have had a more pleasant experience it they downloaded the full manual.

CSUPhilJust incase you're worried about scratching the crystal by keeping the film on, while the acrylic will scratch easily, it is just as easy to polish it back to new periodically.
