You're welcome to listen to people guess, with no skin in the game for them leading you astray. This is what I told another user in your similar situation: I'm not sure why people keep on telling others the player will be enough when they don't have the iem and are only looking at specs. Things always test different than specs in audio. For the case of headphones, you want a good clean high output amp that you know has more than enough power, and then test whatever other device you want to use. Since the jds atom is so cheap and is a clean no distortion neutral amp, it seems highly reasonable to always test on that first, and then whatever other device. There are other similar high output test devices you can use but anyone saying they know for sure your device will power unknown iems to your satisfaction is bsing you.

These neee juice. I received my set from linsol a couple days ago and they need high gain 1pm on the dial on a fiio Q1 MK2 from the balanced output. This is the most power I have needed for IEM's. amazing set of IEM's.

Only had about 3 hours of listening time with them. So far I love them.

Using a Fiio M11 on Low Gain 80% volume is comfortable.

That is a lie if it's been measured correctly it will be accurate, the only variance is someone's listening levels. It's clear you don't understand what those specs represent

Fiio M11 can power these, but I do not recommend it. The experience is mediocre. You will need a desktop amp to drive these correctly, or a portable beast of an amp. Volume levels are not the issue here - it is the lack of impact, bass, and presence. Everything is handicapped.

The impact is extremely minimal if you have completed a good burn in on the P1 and you are using the balanced out on M11. I have compared it to a couple desktop amps and it holds up very well. I have to say you comment is misleading.

Not misleading. I am just giving you my honest opinion on my experience, I'm not here to bash on the P1. Perhaps I received a faulty pair, it is possible. The diff between my desktop amp and M11 is huge, I don't think this has anything to do with burn-in.

Fair enough. Could you give me a hint of the tracks you have used to conduct this comparison? I would love to test my ears out .

The more juice you can feed them the more these will reward you. Use low gain on my fiio M11 and it requires a decent amount of volume and that’s using balanced. At work I use my Oppo HA-2 on high gain and I’m around 50 percent volume. Roll tips to get the sound you want. Comply T500 tips work very well with these as they make the sub bass more present.
