I just spent another 4 hours with the P1s and they absolutely blow to pieces my SE535s. This last listening session was eclectic and varied. listening Paolo Fresu & Omar Sosa (Jazz Trumpet & Piano) This album is absolutely sublime and the P1s brought out all the subtlety and detail - I heard little details in the background I never heard before. I then moved over to Bill Laswell's AXIOM Funk Project The Funkcronomicon Album - Its a complex recording everyone deserves the opportunity to hear. Hear's a sample: https://cloud.howardolsen.com/UMcpOg The depth of the bass and little details like George Clinton smacking his lips are stunning. Then I moved over to into Derek Trucks Band abum "Songlines" This is an exceptionally well recorded and produced record and I heard all kinds of things I never heard before. I could literally hear and feel the reverberation in the congas and could hear the the Foot Pedal into the Bass Drum - so many little percussion details going on all over the place. I now know what one reviewer meant when he said it's like having your favorite and best speakers in your head.  There's been a lot of discussion about the soundstage "Is it wide / or / there's no width" Well I wouldn't call them wide but man would I call these P1s deep. I've listened to a bit of every genre over the last 24 hours and these IEMs have taken everything I've thrown at them. I have a very eclectic musical taste with over 5000 CDs ripped to FLAC and ALAC in my collection and I love smokey female Jazz Vocals just as much at Wynton Marsalis blowing Classical out his Trumpet. I groove on complex Funk arrangements and rock out to hard driving Classic / & blues infused Southern Rock. These P1s are my new favs. I pretty much always use EQ when listening to music and I almost always boost bass & treble and then fiddle with mids and I dont make any apology for it. Its like this I brew my espressos as double & triple shots, I take Scotch 3 fingers over a perfect ice ball, I add extra hot sauce on Madras Indian Cuisine, and I boost EQ for my music. The P1s have responded to everything I gave them and have made me a very happy happy customer. I could go and listen to 20 other sets of IEMs and confuse myself, or find a reason to be disappointed with what I've got - but I'm not going to. I've got these and I'm happy. I will admit, however, that I've got a new set of Xelentos showing up tomorrow or Monday and I do look forward to comparing them. I should also add, that yesterday I listened with a Single Ended cable and it was good, but today I connected a balanced 2.5 and it made a huge difference.

holsenI got mine yesterday and am equally amazed and pleased. Thanks for the heads up on the Laswell album. Listening to it now. I noticed on the opening track to The Martian Original Motion Picture Score on Qobuz "Mars" that there's a low end rumble that was making mine crackle. I was trying to figure out if this was the recording or if the P1's. I tried my HE400i's and was able to repeat but not on my HE6xx's. I get this crackle in my Topping A30, Loxjie P20, or my THX AAA 789. Just wondering if anyone else gets that crackle or replicate what I've experienced, or if I may be dealing with a quality control issue. I don't think it's the latter because they sound amazing and show no signs of distortion with any other thing I throw at them.

CaseyODI don't know the The Martian Original Motion Picture Score on Qobuz "Mars" but I have 1 track, Alicia Keys 101 from Girl on Fire at exactly 5 minutes the bas and the drums come crashing in and with every IEM i use, when played through my Shanling M5s, its a distorted mess unless I dial back the bass in the EQ. On every other player or source I have no such issue .... Otherwise I've had no crackling with my P1s

holsenThanks. I'll check out that Alicia Keys track. To be fair to the P1's, it's a very quiet track for the first minute or so, with the low end rumble in there for cinematic effect. It's a good test for low end extension. On the HE400i's it will shake your head. On the P1's it's audible but decidedly less pronounced but the P1's still make the track sound good. This one track is the only one I have found that brings a hint of distortion but again, that's only when you really push the P1's with more juice than they were probably intended to take.

emac2024I was one of the first 20 on Linsoul. It'll be worth the wait if you ordered here. I dont have time time to expound right now, but A new set of Xelentos showed up this morning and I actually prefer the P1s sound signature. I'll post more later.

holsenThis gives me hope I'll love them, too. (Shipping around July 26.) Have you got a solution to eq streams such as Quboz or Spotify? I don't have any music stored as actual audio files, but rather stream everything on my iPhone 10 in CD quality or higher via the two services (and store those streams locally within the Quboz and Spotify apps for iOS). I beam the streams to my FiiO Q5 via Bluetooth and find the sound to be almost as pristine as when directly cabled, and plenty hi-res enough for me. I love the flexbility and lack of fuss with streaming. But so far no eq-ing possible, and that has me a bit worried about using the P1 as-is. The FiiO Q5 has extra switches for more gain and a bass boost, so maybe that will suffice, but I'd love to know if you can recommend any eq solutions for streaming. Thanks! :-)

SongJoyMy xduo dap has eq in it. The p1s do seem to respond well to eq but they really don't need it unless you're wanting to compensate for source. But an inexpensive solution, if you're wanting those options, might be the ear studio Bluetooth dac amp that's currently dropping. Thinking about getting one myself so I don't have to carry my phone and the xduo x3ii all the time. May be time to save pennies to get the fiio m11 so I can stream Qobuz and Spotify directly via the DAP. https://drop.com/buy/radsone-earstudio-es100?utm_source=linkshare&referer=4449F5

CaseyODYeah I thought about the ES100 - ended up buying a Shanling UP2 My resons are exactly the same, when I'm out and about I dont want to carry a phone and a DAP. I've got a brand new Fiio BTR3 arriving tomorrow (warranty replacement from FiiO) which I'll be selling to pay for the UP2. I use a Fiio 40cm Short Cable when connected to the BT DAC. Its beautiful!

CaseyODThank you very much, Casey, for keying me into the Ear Studio. Just read a couple reviews and it sounds like a good choice in terms of sound. The big question for me, though, is whether the Radsone app can be used to eq only locally stored music, or also streams played within streaming apps. So can the Radone app run alongside the streaming apps and still be used to adjust EQ?

SongJoyThe eq is applied on the amp itself, so any sound going through the amp will be eq'd.

shorodeiSo kind of you to share this with me - looks like exactly what I need. At that price, I can’t go wrong, and then IEMs with certain minimal shortcomings can be tuned. That’ll be great for resurrecting a few favorites found lacking in certain small ways. Thank you. 🙏🏼 😊

SongJoyThe ES100 has a 2.5mm balanced output, so you could get a balanced cable for the P1 in case it's not getting enough juice through the 3.5mm output!

Fai9al023Thank you very much for alerting me to the cable option. :-) I had just read a review in which the reviewer especially praised the sound of the unit when using the balanced jack. Apparently the unbalanced jack provides very good sound, but the balanced one is stellar! So I will definitely get a balanced cable for my P1. I appreciate your input a lot.

holsenHi Holsen, I need help. My D50s was working fine from Marantz CD5005(Coaxial) to D50s and then to PM5005 for over a week. Today I tried to play CD again but I cannot get any sound from my speakers. I've tried everything, but it is not producing sound. I tried using BT and USB and it has sound. Just not the Coax.
