Featuring a dual-driver configuration with one dynamic 10-millimeter woofer and one 6-millimeter tweeter per ear, the Tin Audio T2 IEM delivers a clean, clear sound. The build quality belies the price, too, with metal housings ending in red and blue plastic rings that differentiate the right earpiece from the left. Equipped with an MMCX connector and a 3.9-foot braided silver cable, the T2 allows for easy cable replacement if needed in the future. One Reddit review praises the IEM’s neutral sound presentation, saying that, for the price, it has “no comparison.” Meanwhile, Audio Budget’s five-star review calls the T2 “a beast” with “super-deep and stable sub-bass, vivid and natural-sounding mids, and sharp and crisp yet not fatiguing treble.”
Note: At checkout, choose the T2 (base price) or the T2 Pro (+ $10).
The T2 Pro improves upon its predecessor by updating the compound unit developed by Tin Audio for an extended high frequency and an enhanced low frequency. The result: clearer, more delicate treble; rich, emphasized bass; subtle, natural vocals; and a great amount of detail all around with little or no distortion. The T2 Pro also uses a higher-quality material for the MMCX connectors. Massdrop member antdroid says, "The low end matches my previous T2 bass performance, but again, vocals and upper end instruments get the needed boost to round out the IEM."
