Not as what expected, perhaps I put my expectation too high based on early review. I find the mid is a bit recessed for my liking. All the tips provided have poor fit with my ear. Spinfit seems to be the only solution for me. Minus one star due to shipping issues. Overall I would say it still a good bargain.

Recessed mids?! wha?! change your tips. The mids are forward and pronounced, as is the treble.

Yes, all the tips provided are too large for me.

You know, I stand corrected. After listening to my Sennheiser IE800 and TFZ King Ex, the mids are actually a tad recessed. Both those earphones have forward mids, so when I switched back to the T3 with spiral dot tips, the mids weren’t as pronounced as the others, so your ears are correct. My apologies.

IE800 is the muddiest earphone I ever owned. How you could use it as benchmark for mids is beyond me.

My IE800 have never been muddy. You might have gotten a counterfeit pair? Now there is the classic Sennheiser veil, but it just makes them slightly dark, but still wonderfully detailed and wide stage. They have excellent mids. By far a better earphone than the T3. I’m enjoying the T3 as a on the go beater though. I leave the IE800 at home.
