Just out of Curiosity i'm wondering if anyone can comment of these running through a FiiO E10K headphone amp/dac? Thats what i'm currently running with my SE215's and I quite enjoy it, but I was thinking about going for the Massdrop O2/SDAC as an upgrade. Any thought's on this? Will the T3's be good through either of these amps?

These (and the Shure SE-215) were made for phones so it won't make much of a difference. The Shure SE-215 sound better than these do (according to a few reviews) so not much of a reason to get these as you should be fine with your Shure.

I have the T2 and T2 Pro, as well as the Shure 215 and 315. I would take the T2 and Pro over the Shure. I expect the T3 to be the best of the bunch. The Tin Audios have better clarity and detail than the Shure. The shures are more comfortable in my ears though, but that is about the only thing I like better about them. For $59 you can’t go wrong with these. They hold up to much more expensive sets.

Thanks! I appreciate the feedback. I figured no harm for the cost. Will likely upgrade my amp/dac as well. I noticed a significant difference when getting the FiiO E10K for my 215’s.

I’ve spent quite a bit of time reading and watching reviews and have yet to come across one that compares to the 215’s. Can you post a link? also, I noticed a significant difference when using a headphone amp/dac with my 215’s, I would say so much so that i find it hard to listen without any setup. Which is part of the reason I’m looking at these and another amp. I usually leave my current setup at my office, and would like another one for when I work at home. I have a PS audio setup in my livig room, but it’s not practical to move it for days I stay home and work.
