We were told that they have several hundred in stock that will ship out right after the drop, so that is why people are confused.

I understand where your coming from, I usually take what the manufacturer says with a grain of salt. They also might want to send out all the orders at once. Who knows what the plan is

We all know this, however like Drue said, Lillian explained earlier that they had several hundred pairs ready to ship as soon as the drop ended and they would be sent on a purely first come first serve basis. Not sure why people are struggling to understand this. I'm happy to wait for the March 13th ship date but if the seller says they will ship a few hundred orders early then I understand why people would like clarification.

I don't understand why some people feel the need to get involved, especially when they are clearly unaware of the context of your original question. Hopefully we'll hear something soon in terms of when and who will be included in that first batch of 'in stock' pieces Lillian spoke of.

Being invested and being overly needy are two different things, I am waiting impatiently too, but calling the process not upfront is not fair towards Tin. We have the furthest ETA, which is not bad at all. Surely earlier shipments would make people happy. What I am saying is that we should just appreciate what they do and do our fair bit of waiting without seeming too needy. And assuming that someone is more or less invested in the product is also not fair towards the person, myself in this case. All I said in the comment was that the process overall is acceptable and pretty upfront, which did not touch you as a person especially did not offend you in any way. There's no need to assume stuff about me, especially when I don't see the reason to do so in a negative light.

It is absolutely fair. When a company tells you they have a few hundred in stock, and they will ship out when the drop ends, and that doesn't happen, that is a lie. The idea of appreciating any business that you're buying something from isn't a good one. I paid money for something. I'm not getting it for free. They should not say something that they are not 100% about, because everyone here was expecting them to ship early this week.

I agree 100% with Drue. One of my main purchasing decisions on the T3 over another product or even the T2 was the promise of being shipped once the drop ends & from the US. I purchased these so that on this assumption to use on a plane ride. If I had been made aware the ACTUAL shipping process of this intended drop, it may have altered what and where I bought from. Given the drop has ended many days now, with NO actual details of when and how the shipping process WILL actually pane out. I must say I am a bit disappointing if I am unable to use any IEM on my plane ride in the near future.

This is not a question of being needy. Like other members have already repeatedly pointed out, the seller said they had a number of units ready to ship as soon as the drop ended. Had they not said that then we would not be having this discussion. However they did say that and as a result people joined the drop early in hopes that they would be amongst those who would have their item shipped out as soon as the drop ended. I am in no way assuming anything about you negative or otherwise.

thank you for clarifying the whole issue of the first shipments you said so that people would join the drop and in the end nobody has received anything. Good communication work !! Deceiving the buyer is fine! Disappointed with Tin audio and its management with this theme. I hope that massdrop understands my discomfort and can cancel the order.
