Still no shipping confirmation, can I still cancel??

I tried to cancel my order this morning, I received the following reply below. "My name is Samantha and I am with the Massdrop Community Support team. I hope this email finds you well and I do sincerely apologize for the delay in response. I understand you have some concerns regarding your order and I wanted to let you know that I am looking into this. At this time we don't have an updated shipment date on this product and due to the order being placed with our supplier already we are unable to cancel the order anymore."

That's unacceptable considering it is already April and yet most of us have yet to receive orderss

Weird... I had an email stating I could cancel it still if I felt it necessary. Could be that they have shipped it and are just trying to manually update everyone with the new tracking info, but that's just being hopeful.
