I bought the t2's on the last drop that had them. They sounded great very open sounding without actually being open which was nice and a very balanced frequency response if slightly tinny (it's a pun but also true) however they broke in like a month. I am very careful with iem's never had a pair break before but one day the left bud was just much quieter than the right to the point where you couldn't hear the music.

RyonezIt's the same manufacturer built upon a very similar model. The dude is expressing his caution which isn't super misplaced here

JaegerD> It's the same manufacturer built upon a very similar model. The dude is expressing his caution. Which is fine, over on the product page for the item he's reviewing. This is a different product, and is different enough to the point that this product has additional drivers compared to the one he's commenting on.

Different strokes for different folks, I'd rather hear more about a manufacturer in many facets of what they make than less. But you do you.

JaegerDAnd for anyone reading, Tin themselves state "A continuation of this series, the T3 promises more of the same, with dual drivers" and the T3 only has one unique driver and continues one of the same from the T2 series

JaegerDYou're still hung up on this, to the point of sharing misinformation? T3:
search
That's from Linsouls site, the makers of this product, source

And this is the T2's:
search
Again from their site, source. You'll not that there is a difference between the two products. Now yes, you might want to learn more about a company, and you can do that, by looking at all of their products. My initial comment was to only point out there was a review for different product posted here, simple as that. How about we leave it at that. Should be a fact we can both agree on.

RyonezA discussion of the product, no stars or the like, someone pointing out what they have firsthand encountered. It might be confusing, but reviews and discussions can overlap in a Venn diagram. Now I see the one driver difference between them, but Ill email them direct and see if the DD driver is any different. If it is, I will be more than willing to budge on that. As for misinformation, I'm just sharing what Drop has put out, which generally is given by a vendor, it would be kinda weird if they had to draft a summary of every single item that crosses their webpages. If you don't like it what it says, you can shoot them an email, I'll be all email tuckered out And lastly, I never, never said that they were carbon copies or the exact same or yadda yadda yadda... I'm just going to go on a hunch that you meant note here and not "not"; "Again from their site, source. You'll not that there is a difference between the two products" Don't be so quick to read what you want to read instead of what is displayed. No edits, so feel free to double check on that

And that's from this page. Edits don't really mater, I try to clean up mistakes even if I notice them after I post. I can make mistakes it happens. And you are correct, "not" was meant to be "note". So, seeing at this is turning more into an argument and little jabs rather than focusing on the facts, I've reported this thread and will not be commenting on it further. At the end of the day, all I was really pointing out was a review for another product was posted in the incorrect place.

RyonezTo clarify... Again My point about edits was to you eluding that I said they were the exact same. I genuinely give no cares if you make a mistake nor do I ridicule people for doing so. Don't worry, if it gets locked, I'll just update the info they email me in this discussions tab where information about products and their makers roam. I really just don't get your point on the highlighted field, there was no argument I made on that front, even agreed with you that there is a difference there, albeit, they may still have an internal driver that is the same. The T2 has dual drivers one of them being a 10 millimeter. The T3 also has a 10 millimeter driver and is a continuation of the series.

ShortRideAlso Shortride, did you ever try to reach out to Tin about it and see if they would replace the thing for you? Or try any other cables on them? It seems like the T2 series had subpar cables that when they continued to T3 they went with something beefier cable wise

JaegerDIt's not the cables, it's the connectors on the IEMs. We experienced the same thing with regard to the T3: defective on one of the IEMs, and it wasn't the cable, because we replaced that and experienced the same thing. We reached out to Linsoul for warranty support, and they (Justin) wanted us to ship the defective IEMs back to Shenzhen in Guangdong. Not prepaid shipping, mind you. At our paid expense. For a MANUFACTURING and QUALITY CONTROL issue. Thankfully, we reached out to Drop.com support, who provided a prepaid shipping for an RMA. We were only able to receive a refund, not a replacement, as the Drop was already over. We won't be purchasing anything from Linsoul or TINHIFI in the future. Which rather sucks, as we've been happy with many of their products. But that level of a lack of customer appreciation can't be ignored. If you continue to purchase Linsoul or TINHIFI products, just be informed on who is making and supporting these products. If the price point is such that you don't much care if there is little to no warranty support, that's understandable. Otherwise, take this as a warning, and do your research on places like the other discussions on Drop, Amazon, Head-fi, etc.
