Tin HiFi P1 Plus

Tin HiFi’s P1 IEM is a popular pair of earphones for those who demand balanced sound, and now the P1 Plus brings that to new levels of engineering. At its core, the Tin HiFi P1 Plus features totally redesigned and upgraded planar diaphragm design—positioning 14 magnets on both sides of the diaphragm film. This provides a spread and an evenness that’s nearly unmatched in other earphones of the class—allowing for detail and sonic precision. Tin Hifi’s ultra-nanometer design yields diaphragms with just 1 micron of thickness to provide the ultimate in both resolution and soundstage. This all amounts to a wide frequency range, particularly on the low end (10 hertz to 20 kilohertz) while maintaining an impressive 108 decibels of sensitivity and 1 percent max distortion.

Beyond the ultra-expressive, ultra-consistent planar magnetic drivers, Tin HiFi outfitted the P1 Plus with an array of design and material improvements over its popular predecessor.The P1 Plus nestles its drivers inside a high-polished stainless steel shell that provides both a rigid support for resonance and a striking, futuristic design. The nozzles are angled delicately inward to provide just the right angle into your ear canal—allowing for excellent directionality and long-term comfort. Tin Hifi is carrying the attention to detail into the audiophile-grade MMCX cable, too. This 1.3-meter cable features 3 strands of oxygen-free copper manufactured with 200d Kevlar woven with 4 strands of translucent PCV cable. This combination provides plenty of durability while maintaining steadfast transmission. The cable features gold-plated MMCX connectors for excellent contact and a high-end finish. With these improvements, the P1 in P1 Plus might as well stand for Perfect One.
