Amazing value for the price
Not at all an audiophile, nowhere even close, so take that into consideration when reading this review. I was doing a little digging around for comfortable and affordable IEMs to be used primarily for gaming and listening to music. I ultimately decided on buying these, and I am very happy with my purchase. They work pretty well for gaming, not as good as my beloved ATH-AD700 but those are open back headphones that cost me twice as much as these IEMs, but I was still surprised at how well the T2+ was able to perform compared to my AD700. As far as comfort goes, I did a lot of testing and found that the foam tips were perfect for me, and do a solid job with noise isolation. The only thing I can nitpick is that the MMCX connectors can be a little annoying to disconnect/reconnect, but that is only a minor inconvenience for me as I rarely unplug them anyways. For only $45, I am incredibly pleased with my purchase.

Amazing budget IEMs
First set of nice IEMs, albeit budget at this price. The construction, look, and feel of the tin is so nice (functionally irrelevant, but I love that they're cool to the touch). Instructions say that they need to "burn" in the sound profile with use over many hours of dynamic playback, but right out of the box they already sound great listening to lossless tracks (started with Zeppelin's "Hey Hey What Can I do" as my gold standard test) on my Galaxy S9+. Will come back and update if anything changes, but I can't imagine docking even half of a star, as they should only improve with time!

Clear, smooth listening experience
Tin HiFi has somehow made something that is even better than the previous T2. They finally made it not “flat” (frequency response) but the bass does not cause the audio to become unclear and distorted. However, it still is a chifi iem. Of the two sets i purchased, both have issued with their left MMCX connector as did the original T2.

JoshhyyI can concur - my original T2 had issues with one connector, my T3 had issues with the cable. Both of them ended up not having a problem when I used more tightly fitting mmcx connectors. No idea what changed, but they both still work to this day. That all is to say that QC is not great on these and you should expect possible failures just as with their whole range of iem's... That being said ... I got mine for 35 bucks and they are shouty... I do not know what it is .. maybe dynamic range too much but they seem shouty even on lower volume.

Great!
Very nice build, Cable is very flexible and feels kind of rubberized. The shape of the IEM is great, fits good both with wire around ear (as intended) and straight down. The sound is very intense and exciting, and makes the regular T2 IEMs sound a bit bland in comparison, however it can be overwhelming at times. Overall I'm very pleased with the Tin T2 Plus, and I would reccomend anyone who wants an exciting sound for cheap to get a pair.

Ok, but underwhelmed.
The fit and finish were solid. The sound stage shallow, the highs (> 8kHz) seemed sharp, midrange was strong, and the bass was astonishingly anemic. As an electrical engineer and audiophile I do not believe that IEM 'burn-in' is a real phenomenon. I nonetheless followed the manufacturers instructions and detected zero change in output amplitude across the audio spectrum (~20 Hz - 18 kHz). In summary, great for phone calls, Zoom, or pod casts. Not so much for music if it has any bass content.

sounds like BGGAR's area of expertise something like the Mele/Live 3 are good budget options
Toby53while I'll say in my experience generally burn in doesn't make a noticeable change there are times when it can change a lot I burned in my Shuoer Tapes for a week which made them go from unusable for more than 5 mins (excessive treble painful to listen to) to usable for a reasonable listening session (1-2 hours) and my Blon BL05s's 3 days of burn in made them go from muddy distorted bass that also distorted the mids to clean bass that no longer effected mids

Good product at first, cable becomes faulty
The audio quality and comfort is really good, although the foam tips came permanently squished. Sadly the cable stopped working after about 20 weeks of use.

Took some getting used to
I own or owned all of the Tin HiFi earphones. The T2 Plus took some getting used to... at first, they were very bright to my ears. I tried various kinds of tips and cables, but nothing seemed to do the job. So I left them burning in for about 200 hours. Then I used the white stock tips with a Tripowin Zonie 4.4mm balanced cable, and voilà: these sound clear, punchy, and not at all bright! I guess the combination of balanced with burn in took care of the treble peaks and now I really enjoy this set.

Great Budget IEM
They sound fun and engaging. Don't expect much in terms of detail and all that, they're only 40-ish. Nice and compact, fitment is likely to be a lot better than a base T2 (or any of the iems with that shape). One of the best option for under $50.
