Not bad, technically the best of the "T" series, so if you liked any of the previous iterations, this one will likely appeal as well and make for a nice upgrade. Signature slightly tuned to the fun end of the spectrum compared to the T2, T3, meaning most obviously a slightly elevated bass. BUT chifi's making advances in leaps and bounds and alternatives are now available for similar $$$ or only slightly more. The Tapes and the Form 1.1s come to mind. Both those blow the T4s out of the water, do not even argue please. Compared to those two, the T4s sound weaker across the spectrum, the mids in particular are anemic and almost tinny in comparison. If you're a fan of the T series, get these. But for the the just curious, take a pass and move on to the Form 1.1s for around the same price. You won't be disappointed.

Solderboy23"better sounding is subjective and it can go either way..." That's what you write, but I doubt you actually believe that given the virulence of your opinion. You might try not contradicting yourself so obviously. Weren't you the one who threw a temper tantrum because Drop failed to keep the 789s in stock to satisfy your need for immediate gratification? Like you didn't even understand the website's entire business model? I recall you literally went out in a huff and bought the Monolith 788s instead, the first iteration with all the known issues those had, and wrote a transparently self-serving review of how impressed and satisfied you were (hint: everyone reading your comment could tell you were just fooling yourself - you wanted the 789s). Anyway, for what it's worth, your comment has been reported. Maybe it won't make a difference, but one can hope.
