Absolutely wonderful IEM for the price. I ordered the Pros and was very worried about the high sibilance as I tend to be sensitive to it. Much to my surprise, the sibilance is not that bad at all. Highs and mids are extremely clear. There's not much bass but I don't mind. Some songs hit a certain frequency that is painful to my ears though. Especially some on Aphex Twin's "Syro". Turning down the volume helps, so I think it's not so much the IEMs as that particular frequency with a combination of high clarity, high trebles, and loud volume.
I can hear new details in songs that I have never noticed before. I feel like I'm in the studio with the artist, and sometimes it's so clear that it sounds like noise actually occurring in the room- especially so on Love's "Alone Again Or", where for a minute it seemed like people around me should be able to hear the sound. Live recordings are way more enjoyable, especially Nirvana's MTV Unplugged session, and Neil Young concerts. The sound of the audience clapping sounds like I'm actually in the audience. Some other favorites to listen to with these are Fleetwood Mac's "Rumours", Nils Frahm's "Spaces", and probably my absolute favorite is Jimmy Smith's "The Sermon!". The details are mind-bogglingly clear, and oh-so lively. When I first got the headphones I immediately tried out a few songs, and they put a huge grin on my face.. I ended up just laying in my bed listening to different albums for about 2 hours. Music is way more enjoyable with these.
If these were more expensive I might give 4 stars simply because of the lacking bass, but combined with the price these are a solid 5/5.
