I’m impressed with both the sound quality of the IEM’s and the build. I purchased the T2 Pro model and I’m impressed with the sound out of the box. Very natural sound. Great sound stage. I’ve read about people complaining about the lack of bass. I don’t understand that criticism. I deliberately searched out cuts with bass specifically and have been more than impressed at the performance. These are not “thumpers” but I feel they very accurately reproduce the original recorded sound.
I have since upgraded both the cable and purchased extra foam ear pads for the unit. There is nothing wrong with the stick cable. Very supple and flexible. I went with a 16 core cable that I found in Amazon which takes these things to the next level. I’m also a fan of the foam pads. They seem to stick in my ears better than silicone.
My my only regret is not waiting for the new T3’s to appear. From the reviews I’ve read they are even BETTER!!! I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend these to friends. I use them, so far, with my iPhone XR and my iPad. I’ve got approximately six thousand dollars worth of stereo equipment packed away that I can’t set up for the time being. While not an audiophile elite, I think for the initial $50 they are a value.
My my only complaint, and it’s ongoing with Massdrop, is shipping. These things took nine days to get from the East coast to Wisconsin. Folks need to keep chewing on Massdrop to offer shipping options. Their FedEx buddy shipment system is bullshit.
I'm just going to get the T3's and keep them for home use and take my T2 Pros out in town with me. 😎
The T2 Pro are horrible. The T2 are a solid all arounder iem and the T3 is a budget king. Steer clear of the T2 pro.
I don't get ppl complaining about the "missing" bass. It must be because they don't listen to real music, but that edm shite. Musicreproducing gear is supposed to be neutral, so you can hear what the musicians or whoever intented. It's a shame how many ppl don't know this.
