DeathWatchSeconded because I might buy in.
Edit: All, even if you're not buying and don't care much about this drop, can you guys all thumbs-up DeathWatch's comment so it gets visibility?

DeathWatchCheck out our FAQ under the section title "After Receiving the Drop" for the complete answer. https://www.massdrop.com/faq
In short, you should contact the manufacturer to redeem the warranty. If you encounter any issues with that, you can contact our support team and they will facilitate any exchanges for defective products.

ChristopherJHey Christopher, I read the FAQ, but it still doesn't answer the general question: is the warranty card stamped? Is there an authorised dealer behind this drop?
Thanks

NaculYes I am behind you on this question.
The Swiss watch model on warranty is really different. The cards must be signed or it is useless and where it comes from doesn't really matter.Since sometimes retailer sells watches at discount but doesn't sign cards to avoid being kicked out of Swatch retail.
And it is much important than say a Seiko card:There aren't many fake Seikos around and don't do as much damages as fake Swiss watches.Plus Swatch's warranty is international and is usually honored, even in China which a lot of brands don't.
Not to mention the fact a watch with signed warranty is more likely to be authentic .You can take the watch and the card to the Service Center and just told them it is running slow, then they will test the watch if it is authentic.(Not the best method though, having good watch maker opening the case is the safer option)
A used watch with warranty card usually sells at a higher price too.
So is this watch really coming from manufacturer?Which is Swiss. And if so the cards could still not be signed, since they usually give out blank cards for the retailer to sign them and the seal is the retailer's rather then an official universal one.
I know it could be Massdrop protecting the dealer since I do understand the dealer is most likely wanted to remain unknown so Swatch can't find them. But a confirmation of signed cards is really important for Swiss watches.I think most people don't need a photo of the signed card, just a confirmation of words would be enough.
PS:It would be a poor deal if the cards are not signed but a really good discount from a reputed distributer if cards are signed.
PPS:I have heard the Swatch Group are closing the parts supply to 3rd party distributer by the end of 2015.What that means for you is ETA movements are going to be harder to service from now on ,the parts will only be available to watchmakers who are in possession of certain accounts (which are hard to get) and official service centers.
Aka the service price will go up in the future(not now) unless you choose not to use OEM parts,so the warranty is more important than ever.
PPPS:I know it is awfully long and you see it 100 times already but I am just trying to get the point of "Signed warranty is important ,and should be listed when trying to sell watches, especially Swiss ones" across.

NaculThanks for bringing this up. The vendor let us know that these will not be shipping with the signed manufacturer warranty cards. That said, Massdrop will honor the manufacturer warranty. This covers the product from defects within manufacturer defined warranty period, which is 2-years in this case. This policy applies to any product purchased through Massdrop.
Unfortunately, we cannot name the vendor behind this drop. The consumer advantage of this is that the watches are less expensive to purchase because there are less middleman fees. If Massdrop offered this same product through other means, the pricing may turn out to be less advantageous to the community. Hopefully that helps clear up some of the confusion about this drop!

ChristopherJIn that case I think the vendor kinda screwed you guys.....
50% off Tissot is a good deal, but not so good without signed cards....If you are patient you can find one that comes with signed card for 50% off........
Also I have heard the Swatch Group are closing the parts supply to 3rd party distributer by the end of 2015.So If you guys intended on honoring the warranty yourselves it might get hard....Just a heads up..
AND if you guys are still planning on doing these in the future I suggest you find some Italian guys from Italy. They are the ones with balls to sign the cards and still sell them cheap.

DeathWatchcc @ChristopherJ gotta agree with @DeathWatch here. Buying a Tissot at that price unsigned isn't much of a deal. Amazon (shipped and sold by them) routinely sells unsigned Omegas at a deeper percentage discount than what's being offered on this Tissot, for example.
Now if the vendor can sign them and every drop participant can sign an NDA as a part of the sale, that might help :)
