I took a trip down to the local watch store, and I am ASTOUNDED that they are selling this for SGD 1260. Makes me regret not jumping on this drop since it was USD 299, though I had no disposable income while the drop was running anyway...

Get the black & gold it's also nice, it maybe takes more straps than the all black... For example a black & yellow NATO or a black & yellow silicone 🤔

Yes you have to change the date yourself and so do 98% of other automatic watches, they exist if you think it is a big job once a month, but then you have to pay a fortune...
