Great Timepiece!
I ordered the T1004301103100 (white face, red seconds hand, steel bracelet). Been wearing it around the house and when we go out to run errands to keep it moving. I love this watch. It rides easy on the wrist, definitely doesn't feel like you're wearing a 42mm watch most of the time. The slightly domed face easily tucks under shirt sleeves. The dark gray/black bezel provides some contrast so the face isn't all steel while the red seconds hand provides a nice color against the white face. The face itself appears to be almost a fabric type material with scalloped 1/4 circles, which provides some nice depth and gives off some color variation depending on the light. The red band under the bezel is a nice touch and is seen from most angles. One other thing that I found interesting about this piece is that the date clicks over right at midnight - there's no slow scroll to the next day, it just clicks right over. Some things to keep in mind if you're planning to purchase this particular model down the road:
  1. This particular model is quite heavy - mine is ~177 grams with 3 links removed
  2. Each link weighs about 7 grams, so full loaded, you're damn near a half pound watch
  3. Lume is, well, pathetic at best - if you're looking for something that will be good in the dark, this is not it
  4. Markers are floated above the hands - so the hands all run under the hour markers, it's a different setup that some people may not like
In the end, after wearing this watch for a few weeks, I decided that I liked it enough to get a different color variation (the black carbon fiber version with the rubber strap and blue accents (T1004303720100 listed here I believe)) from JS for a slightly lower price after coupon.  I haven't put any miles on it yet though but will post a review and photos when I do.

Warlock983Awesome. How do you size the rubber bracelet on the black piece?

JoysimathHi Joysimath, First off, you will need:
  • Spring Bar Tool
  • Standard Scissor (or other cutting device)
  • UNDERSTAND THERE IS NO GOING BACK AFTER A "LINK" IS CUT - you will need to buy a new band a try again
The rubber bracelet on the carbon/black version has to be cut. The clasp is held in with standard spring bars, not solid bars. The first steps is learning that, getting the tool behind the clasp, and getting the clasp off. After that, there are little lines on the back of the rubber bracelet, you can't see them in the stock photos, but I will try to remember to get a picture of them when I get home. They are about the size of a standard link. These have to be cut off to make the strap smaller (so be careful and take your time checking the fit!). I ended up taking 2 "links" off either side of mine (4 total) and in the end I wish I would have taken 3 off the inside and 1 off the outside, it just rides a little toward the outside of my wrist. I would check the strap after each cut, with the clasp in the smallest position. After the links are removed, there are 3 positions on the clasp that allow you to make "micro-adjustments" in ~1 mm increments, if I remember the literature correctly. It's minimal, but if you are close, you can use it as a comfort adjust. In my case the difference in the size of my hand and my wrist is significant which causes some difficulty in sliding the watch over my hand while still fitting my wrist. A butterfly style clasp may be needed down the road, but we'll see. One other thing to note - if you think you would like to try a new band on this watch, be ready for a struggle. I picked up a silicone rally strap for this but it had weird ends and didn't look right (this one: https://strapsco.com/product/perforated-rubber-strap-w-curved-ends-black-buckle/ ). Getting that on/off and getting the original band back on was a serious pain in the ass. Notice it has rounded ends that are supposed to fit tightly around the face of the watch, because of the lug/face design, it didn't fit very well (in my eyes at least). If you get a strap, it may be easier if you get something with a traditional spring bar side (just the round over like most watches have). I hope that description was a little helpful! Cheers!

Warlock983Thanks! What is your wrist size? To get a sense of links to cut. Mine is 6.75 inches

I cut 3 links out. But didn't a good job on the last and impt one 🤣 At least it still works. Understand where you are coming from wrt the fit. My Steinhart Ocean on a rubber works fine though, but their stock rubber is much thicker and more robust.

JoysimathNICE!! Looks like it turned out great!! Your last cut was a little better than mine, mine came in at an angle, but I figured that would just give me more wiggle room. My wrist is also 6.75" (with the tape loosely around the wrist). If you ever want to try again (or you gain weight or whatever), I found that these guys seem to have the strap in stock: https://www.mastersintime.com/us/en/watch-bands/tissot/?strapsearch=t100430a&code=t1004303720100 Cheers and congrats!! After you have had it on for a few days, could you see if yours is gaining/losing time? Mine is gaining 6 to 10 seconds a day.
