Is the strap 20mm wide or 22mm? I have seen both listed for this exact model on several different websites. Can anyone shed light on the conflicting info? Thanks!

I really appreciate the price comparisons and expertise discussing the quality and movements... really makes a potential buyer confident when they decide to purchase! i also appreciate MD allowing that level of possibly sale-depressing discussion to exist unfettered. Good on them.

I had one...I sold it... It's extremely thick and bulky, the strap requires trimming to length and I hated the "compass bezel"...as a bezel its fairly useless. That said, the watch ran fine for the 1.5 years I had it, I think it ran about +8 seconds a day or so...not great but not terrible.

I’ve seen this watch model for as low as $299 on jomashop sale, and that’s about what it’s worth. The C01.211 movement is only 15 jewels as a result of using plastic instead of pallet forks as well as a plastic escape wheel and other bits. This isn’t necessarily a bad thing - plastic can be long lasting if it’s a high quality formulation. This movement was specifically designed as low cost so draw your own conclusions. You will most likely not be able to service this movement in any way. You’ve been advised. Merry Christmas you filthy animals.

WatchyoutalkingaboutShocking! And as the earth continues to warm, and the sun continues to expand, these parts will eventually become soft, and melt. I may not be around for that eventuality, but I'm against plastic parts for that reason, on principal! You know, that--and it's a butt ugly watch.

For a "Swiss Made" automatic chronograph, It's worth it, but this one is really heavy and thick.

Challenge accepted. Currently at $429, I’ve seen it dip to $399 on occasion. Valjoux 7753 movement. Swiss Made.
