Product Description
Though function-loaded watches bring a lot to the table, they tend to be gaudy and overbuilt. While dress watches look great with a collared shirt, they don’t offer much functionality Read More

Hi, Do you guys know if this model has a back light on the digital screen? I know that the first T-Touch models didn't have it and the latest do, but I keep finding conflicting info on this model.

Yet another fail by drop. This watch is available on bracelet at jomashop for a normal price of $399, all day every day. Currently, there is a coupon code for $25 off any purchase over $300, making it $5 cheaper, with faster shipping and better customer service. Way to keep sucking Drip, why not go plan some rewards programs for mental munchkins, by mental munchkins. Twats. Watch is cool, though.

My brother in-law has been wearing this watch for many years. Man, how old is this stock?

These watches are now on their second or third generation... Without much changes to the aesthetics. I assume Tissot rightfully resisted the temptation of changing these too much, to keep them desirable to the target buyers. You know, those men - uncles, cool grand-dads, or in-laws - that want a high quality tech tool watch from an established watch brand, without it being a smart watch from an electronics brand. I think Tissot realized if they made these a smart watch, they would lose the traditional buyers. To be fair, they did some variants with different cases and dials, and many of those variants they never sold that well (besides the one with the orange strap). The "original look" T-Touch (Gen 2 or perhaps Gen 3 now?) still sells a lot! My father has been wearing one for more than 15 years now and swears by it. Interesting to note that a few years ago, Tissot replaced my father's Gen 1 by a Gen 2, for the (low) cost of a repair, because Tissot didn't have the parts to service a Gen 1 anymore (one of the buttons was malfunctioning after 12 or 13 years). That was very classy from their part. I promptly buyed a broken one on eBay and had it replaced by a new Gen 2, too! 😂 😉 I highly recommend this watch at this very compelling low price! Perfect week-end or vacation watch! I recommed buying with the bracelet, it has better resale value, and change the bracelet for a rubber if you feel like it (it's an integrated bracelet but a 21mm rubber will fit, and leave a small gap that is not ugly looking). I prefer the simpler black dial with a few numerals. I find the Carbon Fiber dial a bit distracting. That's the one I have.

BobrazYou make some valid points. Bro in-law is in business and wears the watch all of the time. We have not ever had a watch chat but I think he could wear another slice of arm candy with his daily bow tie. Given his wrist size, perhaps a white Stowa - but that is another chat.

ED61 There you go--tried and tested! Seems there was a big discussion a year or so back on this very topic? Opinions were hot and heavy on both sides of the argument. From this point forward--I'm going to consider it settled law!

Interesting watch. Looks a lot like the Alpina Alpiner X.
