I wonder, do you have to keep on adjusting the date for 30 / 31 days a month?

It’s back and it’s still a snoozer. Highly recommended for ex-mob informants currently laying low in the Federal Whiteness Protection Program.

RayFMakes a great gift though. Jody was right, the tissot presentation makes it look a lot more expensive than it is.

UltraReflexIt's not a terrible watch--comes from a good family, has a pretty reputable quartz movement (who actually makes a bad quartz movement?). Seems to be a discontinued model--didn't find it in their current line up--probably dropped for an update of it's rather pedestrian good looks. Seems to be related to several newer models (sharing the same ETA G10.211 innards), with arguably sexier, more updated exteriors: https://www.tissotwatches.com/en-en/shop/pr100-gr-chrq-steel-black-dial.html or: https://www.tissotwatches.com/en-en/shop/tissot-pr-100-quartz-gent-chronograph-12.html Yet of those, only this one has the benefit (?) of a full titanium case and bracelet--good for weight reduction, but no better than steel for accumulating scratches. My guess is that once strapped on, it will keep excellent time and you'll scarcely notice it's there (and I don't think anyone else will either ;- ). Price-wise, I see Amazon is selling it for $220 (but not Prime), while a random eBay seller is beating MD's price by only seven-ish bucks: https://www.amazon.com/Tissot-Quartz-Titanium-Casual-Watch/dp/B008BDR9ZM
https://www.ebay.com/p/710140172?iid=382615740964&rt=nc So, while you could pay less for someone else's' quartz chronograph, and you could certainly pay a lot more for many other Tissot models, this one fits squarely into the category of: if it speaks to you, get it." If you chose to go for this watch, you won't have paid too much for it, and you'll get good watch that should last nearly forever (with a few battery swaps along the way). My only word of caution is that forever is a long time. Let us know what you decide!

Discontinued movement. I prefer temp-compensated quartz myself.
