Just ordered the Montblanc refills but had some pen parts laying around and managed to get a Schmidt easyflow in this pen body using a spring from a uniball signo (207) and a cut spacer (plastic tubing from karas customs pens) for the back.
These refills are significantly cheaper ($10 for 6) than the Montblanc ($15 for 2). Haven't used them much but thought I would throw it out there. The uniball 207's were at Costco for ~$15 for 12 of them. Also, if you are planning on picking up the new pen from Mike (Ti2 techliner on kickstarter), it takes the uniball 207...so you shouldn't need that spring :).
Warlock983I used a few schmidt's and they seem fragile. The metal at the tip is to thin, or something and it stops writing if you "miss handle it" The end cap is designed for the schmidt though, I put an extra little step in the back that fits inside a schmidt.
