What's the difference between machined finish and raw? They sound the same to me.

TrashManThanks. So "RAW" looks more like a sandblast/stonewash finish to me. "Machined" is an unfinished/bright (not polished) appearance with the tool marks, otherwise known as "in the white". Is that mostly accurate?
Pretty sure machined is what I want.

DataThat first pic shows the machined on the left, raw in the middle, and rainbow on the right. The other two pics show the machined and the raw. I have a machined and it is shiny and polished. Raw is unfinished and with just cuts in the metal for grooves and threads. You can see some pics of my machined on instagram at @trashmanx1123 and Brad has some pics on @tacticalkeychains.
DataMachined should really be changed to "polished" - I'll get that changed.
DataPretty close. There will be no tool marks on the pen at all, as they are stonewashed first, and then polished up smooth :)
TrashManThanks Trash!!!!
