$44 cheaper on knifecenter and other knife sites, but still too expensive as this Chinese made knife should be closer to the $250 range IMO.

I did want this drop but it's $40 less on other sites. Any chance of an additional discount?

Gadgetman7Okay, 1) you're totally correct and 2) this is a fairly odd drop with 3 units being the minimum and maximum.
Thanks for letting us know so we can make sure that we're offering the best price on this.
The first member who already joined will also get the newly-lowered price, and once the third person joins the drop will end.

If anybody has ANY reservations about this "made in China" knife, do a quick YouTube search. You'll find very quickly that it's absolutely worth the price. Some of the top YouTube knife reviewers (who have tons of multi-thousand dollar "made in USA" knives to compare it with) have nothing but good things to say about it. Take their word for it over that of the keyboard ninjas here, spewing their baseless opinions from mom and dad's basement.
I don't have a ton of knives but I do have a couple that are more expensive (including a full custom) and it is every bit as good. The action is OUTSTANDING and the construction is flawless. VERY robust knife. The materials speak for themselves.

danglesWho is a top YouTube reviewer? Skelton? He perpetuates this garbage by buying up every custom knife in existence and touting how gorgeous and special they are. He gets deals on them because he knows people then has his shopping network show and flips them for a profit.

fehercbYeah I guess you are not in the knife community, at first their was some people doubting chinese knives. But now its pretty universally respected for Reate knives if not people being blown away. This knife is definitely not garbage, and with how much quality It brings to the table along with fit and finish you get way more bang for your buck than an actual bodega.

Very excited to add this to my collection. I'm just not in the position to be able to shell out 4 to 5 figures on a handmade Begg original, so this is a great option. My Spyderco Rubicon was one of my first Massdrop transactions, and has exceeded my expectations. Looking forward to rotating this into my e.d.c.

Honestly the only issue with this drop is that there's no discount compared to BladeHQ, and you'll get it faster if you order from them. While it may be MSRP of $445 it's been listed at $399 at BladeHQ for quite a while. You also have the option to pick up the blackwash version of the knife if that one is more your style for the same price. Very nice knife, don't listen to the "china so it's bad" crowd, but it would be better deal if it was $350 or so.

Thats sweet but a little rich for my blood, I just bought a Brous br71 blackout. I have ammo cans with knives in them but you just keep buying more and more expensive knives.
