Same Here on the excited as hell and then hopes dashed. This isn't any sort of a deal. Like the other user said you can essentially get it for 50 less from B&H and you can go ahead and ship it now so no waiting a month either. Joined massdrop because I thought it would actually provide some savings....haven't bought a thing yet cause I can always find it for the same price or lower elsewhere...

It would be nice if there was a forum specifically for custom products.. Like ideas and a place to chit chat about specs and stuff. Then i'm sure you'd get enough feedback from the community.

Perhaps something similar to what you do with headphones. Maybe an exclusive color or slight revision to an existing product from a reputable manufacturer. Peak Design and Ona would probably be the most obvious choices.

this lens works fine as a 16mm f2.8 on a nikon full frame, u can even go a bit wider than 16mm but if i remember correctly u get some strong vignetting by 15mm

This lens has had a correction profile in Photoshop/LightRoom for 3+ years. Should be no issue correcting for the vignette in those software packages.

I really appreciate this offering, but this is not a deal. B&H has it for the same price, plus free shipping, plus a $30 rebate, plus 4% store reward... overall works out to $50 less with immediate availability.
