Are the ruler markings on the barrel laser etched or screen printed? I don't want the numbers and tick marks to rub off after a year or so.

El_ReyIt definitely not laser etched, but not screen printed either. The ruler markings are raised. I just took a flat head to it with multiple passes and it didn't scratch off. It seems to be some kind of enamel. Definitely won't "rub off" after a year, unless you abuse your pens.
