Is there a cap for the ink end?

Derrick_BLooking at the product pictures elsewhere there doesn't seem to be a cap for the pen end. But I did see that the fountain pen version does have a "streamlined cap"

MHardlundI've seen it but it doesn't clear up my question nor misconception. Are the pen nibs always exposed? That wouldn't be practical for a pen.
