Topping’s A50s Balanced Headphone Amplifier takes the same Nested Feedback Composite Amplifier (NFCA) module from the brand’s lauded A90 amp and brings it to a small, minimalist-friendly desktop headphone-amp form factor. Leveraging voltage components equipment to handle ultra high-gain feedback, this little amp can be relied upon to drive a wide range of high-end headphones with ease. The low-noise 0.3-microvolt componentry also contributes to a wide 144 decibels of dynamic range to ensure exceptional dynamics and detailing alongside top-tier amplification. The whole thing comes in a slick, 6-by-6-by-2-inch chassis that weighs under two pounds and sports both a 6.35-millimeter and 4.4-millimeter balanced outputs for a bit of extra compatibility on tap.
