General question: If this is a DAC, Why would you need digital outputs? Give an example of how the digital outputs would be used. ( I bought the Topping D50, with two ESS chips, one for each channel, which sounds great). I am trying to understand some of the recent approaches, such as Roon over wired ethernet, and "renderers" , etc.

When you have another dac, and you wanna use the other dac’s coaxial or optical input, maybe because all the other inputs are taken.

Exactly that’s why I got it especially because my drivers suck on my other DAC. I’m hoping my crappy Windows 10 Computer will recognize this ones drivers with no problems. I have to “disable” driver restriction and re-install on Windows every time I shut down my computer. (So annoying)

Technically, it is a DAC via RCA and a digital out splitter via COAX & SPDIF.
