Dmac6419The original version did not have certification of LDAC. So They are not able to add LDAC to the original.

Dmac6419I sent a mail to the Topping service department, so let's see what come back re the LDAC feature. I also asked them about adding the option to V1 to hard code the line out mode to pre-amp (volume controlled) or DAC mode (continuous output at max volume) so as to avoid a mistake when using the remote that currently cycles through pre amp and pure DAC modes. The new V2 has this hard code option available.

Dmac6419So confirmed by Topping, no LDAC or line out setting possible on V1. LDAC I can understand, as it could be a hardware based thing, but not being able to update the firmware to allow for the line out setting to be part of the master settings? That sounds like bullshit to me. Here it is from the horse's mouth:
