Topping DX7 or a Schiit Magnius & Modius combo for $400? Someone help me decide, please. EDIT: Wait nvm, just realized Topping is a Chinese based company AND this thing produces noise... Schiit stack it is!

savvyI think Topping is actually Polish, but manufacturing is based in China obviously.

savvyI think it was someone in Drop community who said it. Can probably find that with the search.

adi518Why wouldn't that be listed on their main website like every other company in existence though? I'm going to believe what's on their official website vs some random comment on Drop.

savvyNo idea. You'll find much more details on Topping in the thread of the non-Pro version of this unit, the DX7s: https://drop.com/buy/topping-dx7s

reiszrieare you trying to gaslight this person for assuming a Chinese designed electronic might be lesser quality? Schiit products are designed AND built in California. Easy choice if you want quality parts and longevity.

T.McDonough15Do you even know what gaslight means? Also, what made you assume that all Chinese parts and products aren’t good quality or durable? how much do you want to bet that Schiit uses Chinese parts in their products?
reiszrieyou called a stranger online a quasi-racist for no reason, I would call that gaslighting.

T.McDonough15Is there a way to tag admins in here? This dude is hell-bent on calling people racist just for avoiding products from a Chinese based company...

reiszrieNot supporting a company based in China is not racist. How else do you expect a regular civilian outside of China to limit support to the CCP? By not buying products from Chinese based companies is one of the very few ways... Go outside please.
