rampantandroid Hi! I was told to use a different USB cable. But before I actually purchase a USB cable, I wonder if you think I should and any recommendations?

Pros: Great DAC/amp for the price, with DSD support. Balanced headphone out and balanced DAC. Sounds great to me with a paid of HD650s.
Cons: I wish the gain was a little higher. I find that I run at around -35 to -30 db, with classical music generally requiring the higher volume. No included remote, but that's not a deal breaker to me.
Overall, I think it's worth the money. Topping has less smoke and mirrors (and poor customer service) going on than Schiit does - and I was considering the Jotunheim until I saw the DX7S.
Note: My unit shipped set to 230VAC mode. I didn't realize this, and thought I had a dud unit until I finally remembered to look for the switch.
