Great balanced DAC/Amp combo. You better have really good source material to play along with. Regular PCM 16bit/44khz input won't be suddenly awesome with this. Although the lack of distortion will be evident if your previous player/pc is bad.

HorseknightPeople at audiosciencereview had some good results with a decent USB cable. But, I am not sure if it really matters with the new firmware update that's supposed to fix USB relay noise issues.
