Just received the DX7s a few days ago. Love it... I do plan to upgrade to a real dedicated amp in the future.
My question is, I am only able to select up to 32 bit,384khz via USB.
Should I be using bitstream out from the PC instead?
Not a deal breaker, just curious if there is a known limitation with USB vs bitstream.
Thanks! -Rob

Where did you get music source at 384KHz/32 bit samping rate? The highest PCM samples I can get is from 2L at 352.8kHz/24-Bit. As for bitstream, while program lik foobar can convert PCM to DSD, I have no idea how it does and what filter, if any, was used. I have tried to convert 44.1KHz PCM to DSD 512 with no strong preference either way. You should just try it yourself to see which way you like it more.

Yeah I don't even have a 384lhz/32bit source. My current best source is Tidal Master audio. It was more of a question of how/why can't it be adjusted to the advertised sample rate as opposed to it being a deal breaker. Thanks!
