This little desktop model centers on a dual ESS ES9038Q2M Sabre DAC chip that’s capable of native PCM resolution up to 768 kilohertz—providing plenty of resolution for even your highest fidelity files. And thanks to built-in MQA support, you can even breathe new, studio-quality life into those files to push the boundaries of sound quality on your audio library. The unit runs on a 16-core XMOS XU216 chip for plenty of processing power, and it even offers Bluetooth 5.0 LDAC connectivity for near-lossless wireless transmission. There are two options for headphone outputs—four-pin XLR and 6.35-millimeter—to ensure compatibility with virtually any set of headphones. And thanks to 1300 milliwatts of output power and 200-ohm impedance, there’s plenty of headroom to drive even your most demanding cans.
