I'm exceptionally disappointed at this drop and the simple fact that I waited such a long time to receive such a bad product. I ordered two green spacebars. One of the spacebars that I received arrived with a small spec of something black that is embedded in the plastic and cannot be removed. The other bar thankfully didn't have any cosmetic defects.
However, the LARGEST issue that I have with these bars is that the tolerances allow the spacebar bottom to hit the metal plate of my FC660C, which makes a massive pinging sound every time I click the spacebar. That is unacceptable to me when the previous drop of PBT spacebars did not exhibit this issue at all, nor do the default ABS spacebars that come with Topre keyboards. This same issue also was there with both of these new spacebars on my 104U.
The surface is definitely rougher than the previous drop of these spacebars, although not so rough that it really matters. But for someone with a Hypersphere'd Topre board because I like silence, this pinging issue due to the spacebar walls being too long is just unacceptable.
Definitely requesting a refund.
