Having seen this in person, I have to say it is as much a piece of absurdist humor as it is a tool.

fhoodI've tried using one for various bushcrafting tasks. Fortunately not one that belongs to me, though. It belongs to a friend that did some work at Tom Brown's school, and Brown gifted them a knife in return. The thing has quarter inch thick steel coupled with a low grind, meaning that the profile is a fat wedge that isn't actually good at cutting. It can do some chopping and light splitting, but any camp hatchet, even a bad one, will work better. It's ground like a splitting maul. Also, the "saw" crudely cut into the spine is worthless. The extremely basic saw on my Victorinox Swiss army knife bested it easily in speed. The abrupt change in grind halfway down the blade hinders any kind of performance in cutting with the recurved section of the blade, as well. A simple $15 Mora will serve you much better at nearly any bushcraft task, aside from, say, batoning.
