TOPS Machete .230 Fixed Blade Knife
A Field-Ready 1095 Powerhouse
A collaboration between outdoorsman Joe “Shangoman” Flowers and TOPS shop manager Leo “The Lion” Espinoza, the TOPS Machete .230 is an absolute juggernaut when clearing brush, chopping wood, and harvesting crops. The blade, a whopping 16 inches long, is made from 1095 steel with coating to prevent it from rusting and corroding in wet environments. The handle is the result of extensive design changes, the goal being to create an oversized grip that proved comfortable for long hours of work. At nearly a pound and a half, this machete is certainly large enough to handle turbulence in the field—but when you’re not using it, you can stowe it in the included ballistic nylon sheath. The sheath even has small pockets for other tools like a compas, sharpener, flint, and more.
