I've had experience with knock off GMK stabs, GMK stabs, and Durok stabs previous to getting these. These were the easiest to tune for sound with minimal lubing required. I've not had the wire pop-out issues that others have seemed to have.

Best stabs but pricey
Zeal tax is op. Great stab though. Once you know how to lube, these are one of the best stabs. Durock is really close and better bang for buck.

These stabilizers look great, sound great, and feel great, but mine suffer from pop-out issues. Maybe it's the combination of my tight-fitting XDA caps on my box switches, but sometimes when I pull off my keycaps a stabilizer wire will pop out, and it is extremely difficult to pop the wires back in through my plate. It seems like this isn't an issue for everyone, but is certainly something to be wary of.

this happens to mine too. Never quite figured out how to pop them back in without desoldering some switches to get enough bend in the plate.

catamIt's not your tight keycaps. This seems to happen frequently with all of these that I've owned, so much so that I've desoldered boards to remove & replace them. It started out just when removing keycaps like you mentioned, then got to the point that they'd actually pop out during normal typing. This is a case of what I feel must be a design flaw - rod diameter too small or clip too loose/flimsy? Not sure why, but it's a consistent problem. Beautiful execution/production of a flawed product/design.

Best Stabs
So much better than the gmk ones. Don’t really have to mod them so they don’t rattle. Just screw them in and good to go!

Pop out WAY too often
I really wanted to love these. So much so that I mounted them on nearly a dozen different keyboards. I've since gone thru the painful process of desoldering all but 1 of them to remove/replace these. The Good: they look & feel incredible The Unacceptably Bad: the stabilizer bars started popping out of the clips so frequently that it's truly ludicrous. This has been a global issue (not just a bad production lot), as mine were purchased at different times, some from Drop, some directly from Zeal. ALL have experienced the exact same issue. Same thing occurs with both the 2 unit stabilizers & longer spacebar stabilizers. I don't seem to be the only 1 complaining of this issue. If you have an open plate (or plateless) design that allows you to pop them back in easily, I guess they'd be fine. But if you're like me & have to break out actual tools every time it happens, they're terrible.

Great. Look nice with all the gold on my keyboard.
I put the stabilizers on my Gingham keyboard.

They fit very nicely and don't pop out like the clip in stabilizers. Here is a nice closeup too see how gold it really is.

And one of the spacebar stabilizer.

I love how they match the screws in the keyboard. They also match the screen print of the PCB. All in all, I am happy with these. There is usually no need to show off stabilizers as they are mainly a functional, but invisible part of a keyboard. Thus the gold color is normally wasted. Here it makes sense to use them and it's such a beautiful board with the extra gold. I just wish the USB port could have been gold on this.

My favorite stabs by far. Worth the money, and my go-to choice for all my PCB mounted builds. They're smooth even before lubing and feel absolutely amazing after you do. I have four sets of these and haven't experienced any negatives so far.
They are screw in stabs though, so just make sure that if your screw is bridging any contact points you put down a small piece of electrical tape to keep them from shorting.

When you pay this much for stabilizers, you're already lost in the mechanical keyboards black hole.

Absolute rattly shite, even after lubrication. The gap that holds the stabilizer wire is much bigger than it needs to be, giving more room for the wire to move around. Save your money and buy genuine cherry stabs, or zeal stabs at zealpc.net

dubiousOneThey do not rattle at all with a tiny bit of lubricant.

dubiousOneThey may not rattle, but they sure pop out of that gap way too easily - whether you buy them here or at Zeal. +1 to your recommendation of the genuine cherry stabs though.
