@YanboWu Can you guys get a Drop going for EnjoyPBT screw in stabilizers? They’re similar to Zeal’s (clear, and screw in), but at $12 for a full set....Drop would probably make a pretty penny at that point.

The EnjoyPBT stabs are cloned Zeal stabs. There would likely by IP issues if massdrop tried to sell them.

These are in stock at zeal directly, with pretty awesome shipping speed. This drop, after tax and shipping was going to be $40 for me. Direct from Zeal, after shipping I paid $42, and I got them in 48 hours.

Why are these gold-plated though? They're not supposed to conduct electricity. Just aesthetics? I like the idea of pre-clipped, screw-in stabs, but plating them with gold when no one sees the inside of your keyboard seems absurd.

They do that because the silver wire with clear base makes it look pretty gross from an aesthetics standpoint and the gold is softer and does smooth out vibration from the wire

Anyone know if it's possible to order one kit with a 7u and one with a 6.25u in the same order? I need one of each. I don't want to pay shipping twice, but I can't figure out a way to do it. Upping the quantity to 2 doesn't allow you to specify more than one kit type.

Does this set work with the Polaris PCB? Also could use some help knowing which set option to go with for an ANSI/HHKB layout.

polaris uses screw-in stabilizers, and if you're looking at an HHKB layout (wkl, split backspace, split rshift) you're gonna need 2u stabs for the left shift and enter keys, as well as a 7u stabilizer, for a total of 2x2u 1x7u.

Thanks for lying to your customer base about how much these stabs go for at MSRP and then charging them more for the product.

+$12 shipping. It ends up being a bit cheaper here, but you'll have to wait 6 weeks while ZealPC overnights orders. Honestly, these stabs are just overpriced no matter where you buy them from imo.

massdrop has always been a lie. It used to offer discounts 2-3 years ago, now it's just "drop" shipping
