Wow, this is seriously overpriced if they are the same as the ones on Taobao. They probably are. Quality is not good tbh. Will be waiting for Zeal's version of clear stabs. Smoother, quieter.

The rattle can be further reduced with a small small bit of strategically placed cotton from a cotton ball.

As someone already said, the text says Plate-Mounted Costar stabilizers, while the pictures show plate-mounted Cherry style stabs. Please Massdrop, take some relevant pictures from anywhere. Don't give incoherent, misleading information.
Anyway, I requested this drop, but I didn't read the comments about quality before. After reading them, I've decided I'll stick to my usual sources.

QumassI contacted support about the misleading images, apparently I didn't do a good enough job at it because I got an image back of the "Note: At checkout," box with the "or" highlighted.
I've sent a much clearer response, may have been a wast of time though -_-
I kept hearing good things about Massdrop, so I decided to sign up and bought some Gateron Switches. After my two dealings with support (reporting the images, and asking a shipping question on the switches), I don't see what the hype with this site is.

TiJoToIt's just the only place to get a lot of cool stuff, sometimes that you can't get elsewhere. Massdrop the only sizeable organization that is willing to run group buys, taking on large amounts of risk. But they are definitely understaffed, don't give enough attention to individual buys, and tend to put out a lot of crap that isn't a good deal at all in with all the good deals. You also have to be careful about buying retail stuff. It's rarely much cheaper than Amazon though it takes months to ship. But, for the actual community run group buys, Massdrop is really great to have around. Like I said, they take on a lot of risk for us, and Massdrop is an entry point to group buying which allows you to 100% trust the entities running it as far as being competent, mostly efficient, and not running off with your money.

What the difference between costar stab and cherry stab ?
I will install to my infinity ergodox with switch already soldered. Any suggestion what must I use between both of that ?

I dislike costar stabilizers for multiple reasons. The metal bar is a pain in the ass to snap into the plastic tabs, the plastic tabs do not firmly seat in the underside of the cap (particularly if you use custom keycaps though I've never liked using them for stock caps either), and I can't tell any difference (as in better) with this transparent stabilizer pack. At $15 and change if you live in the US, there are worse things to be had. The good news is that if you get them now and then later buy a PCB and plate, you won't have to go hunting for them from a parts supply house and you will get them in clear which could go well with a acrylic 60% board.
TLDR, these aren't any different/better designed but that's the flaw I see in costar stabilizers not in the product offered in this drop. HTH

I just bought 2 packs of these stabs on ebay for $5.5 each and I don't think the shipping would take longer than this drop. Just saying. Oh free shipping btw.

Liam75some of massdrops deals are great, some are shit and better to buy elsewhere (amazon, ebay, your next door neighbour, etc).

Is anybody from Massdrop reading these comments? Please, can someone look into the shipping issue for greater than 2 quantity? I'd like to order more of these but the shipping fees just get out of control.
