LoriHi Lori,
I do source the cap and section piece from a company that makes those pieces in a kit pen . However, the nib and feed are sourced from JoWo and engraved with the Tree Ring logo. The converter and ink cartridge are from Schmidt and Waterman, respectively. Thus, the pen writes very well- see link to review above. Of course, the most unique element of the pen is incorporating tree ring analysis into the barrel of the pen. I hold a patent for that technique so Tree Ring is the only one making such a pen.
Tree_Ring@Tree_Ring ,
Very nice pens. Do I understand correctly that you hold a patent for counting the number of rings on a slice of wood, subtracting that from the year the wood was cut, and then printing those two numbers (the year it was cut, and the result of the subtraction) back onto the wood?
Nevermind, Google answered my question for me: http://www.google.com/patents/US7467904 . I am at a loss for words.
