Love to see sweeping hands on quartz movements, wish there were more of those out there. That being said I wish the dome wasn't acrylic. Guess it makes it easier to have it domed than mineral or sapphire.
I didn't know that! I actually pulled the trigger on one of these. Feel a bit better about buying one now haha

User_1You should be able to pick up some polywatch for ~$10, and then just pop on over to YouTube to watch a few videos. You’ll be all set should you ever need it.
I might actually pick up one of these $65 mechaquartzes if it weren't for all the superfluous crap on the dial.

graftRoger that. I like the simpleness but is it a dress watch because of the indices or is it a flieger because of the inner number ring? I am going to cogitate on black one on a strap for a bit before I decide whether or not it is my cup of tea. I suppose I could just swap dials.
RayFThese are some GOOD leftovers - no yucky face from me. Got both the black dial and the "white" dial this time. Been waiting for this drop to come back around - LOVE the burgundy dial one I purchased last time around, and worth the price paid just for the leather straps that come on these!

Well, truthfully it's hard to knock a quartz watch at $65 that also makes an effort to look good too. I'm just not a dress watch guy (at any price) so my tastes and opinions run a little narrower than most.
Glad you're dig'n 'em and don't forget to post some shots the new ones arrive!
mlsteinLug to lug on mine is just over 48 mm. I have the burgundy dial from the last drop and just love it. Great watch for the money - will be getting the white or black dial this time around, just haven't decided which one yet.
DeeanThanks! That's just within what's wearable for me; I went for the burgundy with mesh (not crazy about the current two-stitch leather straps on what seems like a dressy watch) after reading the high praise on this site.
Do you think Drop will drop the Trifoglio Vault, aka "discreet Fentanyl user" watch?

I like these guys, beware the white dial though, it is not very white, it is more a dark creme or a light grey, but it doesn't look like these renders I can tell you that for certain, .. look at picture #3, I think they added that pic as it wasn't there on the last Drop and I complained when I received mine and found it was grey instead of white, all they had was renders previously. It's not white and it doesn't have the contrast it would, if it were, which is what makes it attractive imo...it's a very ugly dull shade of grey that does not look good with the contrasting strap, the way the renders do, at all.

Glen8I think the color descrepancy is because this watch has the "vintage white" dial as oppose to just "white". They appear to be different. At least they are on the Millimetro (https://drop.com/buy/trifoglio-italia-millimetro-automatic-watch). Under that listing they show them as separate color options.
I'm a big fan of the VH series and own a couple, from Kingsbury and Alexander James. I've seen this model on ebay and would have bought it if there were lumed hands.
Allesandro Baldieri does quite well with his own brand and is obviously a great designer. I am hoping these straps are fine Italian leather and are great quality, as the purchase of these 65 dollar watches might be worth it just for the straps :)
