WARNING - I purchased this cable through linsoul's website and IT IS NOT BALANCED. The negative connections on my cable are shorted, which shorts whatever amplifier it's plugged into and can cause damage. You can notice this issue as clipping in the sound. Linsoul has refunded me the money for the cable but will not compensate for any damage the cable has caused to equipment. Unless you have a multimeter and can verify your cable isn't shorted, I would highly recommend that you DO NOT BUY this cable.

s.beckmanI think it depends on what termination you chose. The 2.5mm I bought and just received is working perfectly on ES100's balanced output.

BangNarajI would check with a multimeter to be sure. I thought mine was working fine too until it started to clip really badly after a few days use at medium-high volume. If you're using an ES100 or any other amp that says it's balanced, you need to two negative pins to be isolated from each other on your 2.5 TRRS or your XLR.
