Would the dual 3.5mm work with the Elex? I noticed that the connections are TRS and not TS like the original cable.

I ordered mine not from Drop and will let you know when I get to test it. I ordered the XLR to 3.5mm termination.
*Update*
The dual 3.5mm works with my Focal Elex. The paracord sleeve is nice and noise-free. It does not transfer noise to the ear cups. Now excuse me as I try out my new cables :)

So when you attach the cable for the HD6xx, the 'dimpled' side should face the outside part (i mean the side that you can view on)?
